You look around, noticing that the guards have their backs turned to the groups as the researchers seemed to be explaining something to them. You turn your attention to the two groups, you can only tell them apart by a thin gap. You step across the gap just as a warder turns around. Did he see it? You hope for the best as the guards guide group 1 out of the room. Good, they didn’t notice, you’re now part of the smaller group.
The researchers lead you and 2 other inmates to the side where the tables are set up. They were simple plastic white tables with a wooden stool in front and syringes were laid out neatly on the table. The researcher in his 50s signals for you to sit down on the stool and snaps at you to roll up the sleeve of your left arm. You feel a sharp sting in your arm before a piece of cotton ball is taped to your arm. He then orders you to go wait by the door. One by one, each inmate gets an injection.
