Ghost Pirates of the Sea-erra Madre
You decide to get a job with a theatre group. You start by building sets and helping out backstage, but eventually you even manage to get to be on stage in supporting roles!
One day you hear a proclamation from the government, the monarchy has been dissolved and the new leader of Atlantis will be chosen by whoever writes the best play! This seems really weird and you ask your nemesis Louisa about it. She says that the Atlantean people didn't really like democracy and this was the compromise they agreed to. It seems better than fighting with harpoons at least!
You put everything you've got into writing the play and are elated when you discover that you received first place in the competition and are made ruler of Atlantis!
However, you discover the job kind of sucks. It's all just meetings and listening to people talk about kelp farms and stuff like that. You're thankful when your term is up and you can go back to working with the theatre group.
