What If?

'As time passes with us having Gettysburg, Lincoln still won't give up. The war seems to be dragging out way longer than its supposed to. Confederates win some, United States win others. Gettysburg gave us a huge advantage but I fear it isn't enough to win the war. I will most likely go into another battle my dear. I pray you stay safe wife, and know I'm alive.'
