You get out of the chair and run, putting as much distance between you and the thing as possible. You run long and hard into the darkness, until the orange glow gets smaller and smaller and then completely disappears. You stop, gasping for breathe. All around you is a complete silence, and a darkness impossible for your eyes to penetrate. After you catch your breathe, you continue on, walking carefully this time.
