Ed draws an ink shield, and when the fairy is close enough, he stands his ground and raises it. The fairy slams into it, but Ed keeps his footing, and she reels back. The fairy falls backward into the snow and transforms into her human form. She's too dazed to fight for a few moments. Ed has the chance to end this.
