Ed readies himself, and as soon as the fairy is close enough, he slashes his paintbrush in front of him, creating a bar of ink. The fairy can't stop in time and gets clotheslined by the ink bar. The ball of light reels back, and the fairy transforms back into her human form and falls hard into the snow. She's lying in the snow, dazed.
