Speciation

By feeding on humans and rodents, the ideal place of feeding is underground in the subterranean conditions of subways and trains where these food courses are abundant. In this environment, you represent the mutant mosquito population which has access to much less space for reproduction than the above-ground group. Due to the consistency and reliability of food sources down here, alongside the stability of weather conditions, there is no need for you to undergo hibernation. Hence, reproduction and exchange of alleles occur much more rapidly and often in excess.

As a result of rapid genetic drift due to higher reproduction rates, the divergence of this population of mosquitoes occurs much more quickly than in other organisms.
