The Berlin Wall

you take out your savings and buy a convertible on the black market from a man who once owned a car dealership. you dress as close to the celebrities you've seen in magazines and drive with a friend to "Check Point Charlie" the only checkpoint in between East and West Berlin. as you get checked out by the guards they quickly realize your paperwork doesn't match up and your story isn't as well practices as you thought. they rip you out of the car and you are attacked by dogs. they very quickly throw you into jail where you're sentenced to 50 years imprisonment for possession of forged identification, and identity theft. until your sentence came to a end in 1989 when the wall was dismantled (you served 27 years in jail)
