You decide to sit quietly and wait for it to start. Once everyone arrives, someone turns off the lights, scaring some people inside, and causing eeks to escape their mouths. Once everyone has adjusted to the lights being turned out, they turn their attention to the MC who introduces the first performer. Fun fact: MC means the master of ceremonies. The first performer sings and does a very good job. At the end of her performance, you applaud and congratulate. But wait a second, they just called your name! Oh boy you guys it's your turn to perform! You head up to the front of the stage and make sure everything you need is all queued up. You start performing and realize that all your worries and fears have melted away and everyone is cheering you on. When you finish performing, you take a big bow and everyone congratulates you and cheers you on. You are very very happy. You sit back down with your friends and watch a lot more performances. You think to yourself, there are so many talented people in nfty! It's now intermission and time to get some food in the hadar.
