The Captured Follower

You tie the rope to a Joshua tree, giving time for a strong knot. You begin climbing the rope but only make it twenty feet before the Sarkics arrive above you. They begin climbing down after you.
As the fourth sarkic gets on the rope, the tree snaps and you all fall to your deaths.
