You grab a doughnut and take a bite. It tastes amazing. It's fresh and soft, a slight crispy coating on the outside, dusted with soft sugar and filled with a delicious jam filling in the middle. "Oh! These are great!" you exclaim. Your sister laughs and takes one too. and together you begin your feast.
One doughnut down and you don't feel at all filled. if anything, it's just whet your appetite for more. You pour yourself a drink of apple juice from the jug on the table and pick up a blueberry muffin. Your sister starts on a plate of biscuits. Again, you both eat with gusto and don't feel full at all. The more mouthfuls you take. the more the hunger inside you craves more. "You know," you say. finishing the muffin and reaching for another, "I definitely think we're going to manage this."
The only issue you find is that your shirt and school shorts are feeling pretty tight. You look down at your body and see it has definitely got rounder. You're sure you didn't have that belly on you before. You look across at your sister. The buttons on her school shirt are also straining in a manner that they weren't before. She's noticed it too.
