The Adventures of Atticus King
You rip open the envelope. The paper looks 100 years old. The message was written in a hurry.
It reads, “Atticus, I’ve just found the map. I know where the map is. The map to the ancient Mayan city we were trying to find. Meet me in the old warehouse on 9th street, so I can tell you where it is. Whatever you do, DO NOT GO TO MY HOUSE”
You sit back in your seat. Edwin had been talking about this map for years. An ancient Mayan city was discovered in 1906 by an explorer from his town. We knew he drew a map, but we didn’t know where he put it. Are you sure you want help him?
