Unbalanced
It takes a few moments to find a good foothold but as you do, you are able to pull yourself up onto the roof of the building. While it takes most of your skill to maintain your balance on the sheer slope, you find yourself gazing outward. The building you are in appears to be massive, with dozens of interconnecting hallways and spires that claw at the shadowed sky. Above it, great streaks of white and black lightning cast shadows across hundreds of fires, spreading and jumping quickly across rooftops with a malign sentience of their own. In the far distance, what appears to be a figure floats downward, wreathed in shadow and haloed by light. You watch, mesmerized, as the being waves it's arm and an entire section of the building falls into rubble.
Suddenly, to your left you hear a cacophony of sounds; screaming and fire, each competing over the other. Glancing over, you see a similar figure, wrapped in white flames with a crown of burning darkness. It moves silently through fields of black-iron clad soldiers, their armor turning to molten metal almost instantly.
In awe of the description of both creatures, you barely even notice when the wall that you've braced yourself against cracks inward, pulling you into the rubble below.
