Errant
You wait for the man to get close enough before calling out. "Hey! What's the meaning of all this?"
"Ha?" He smiles with a kind of superior disbelief. "Thought that was obvious, pretty boy. Your ship's been boarded."
You can see him better now, he wears a billowing shirt under and open vest. the bottom half of his face is covered by a mask but you can see a long scar that goes over his eye and continues farther down. His hair is light, almost sun-bleached, while his skin is dark in comparison. A curved blade rests on his hip and you can just see that there are countless more strapped to his back.
He's a pirate. The ship is under siege by pirates!
"But play nice and then we can all get along well, okay?" He crouches down in font of you and tilts his head.
