Errant

After your tryst in the kitchen, the two of you return to the bunkhouse. Drunk and sleeping sailors snore in cacophonous harmony as they sway in their hammocks. Still feeling tipsy, you let Leo help you into bed; gently mocking you as he does so. You waste no time falling asleep as soon as you're settled. You think you hear Leo say something before you drift off, but by the time you wake up you can't recall. Like it was almost a dream.

The wake up isn't nearly so sweet. Crewmen come through ringing bells and flipping beds to roust the so-called "lazy louts" from their sweet dreams. Your one such lout as you wake up face-to face with the hard floor. Your head is more than a little rattled not just from the fall, but from the hangover taking root in your skull.

"Careful there," Leo steps down and pulls you to your feet. Despite the dark circles under his eyes he seems in good spirits this morning. "You'll learn to get up before they starting flipping."

You thank him and join him as he and the others leave to start their duties. While not under threat, you and the other hired warriors divvy up various menial tasks.
