Stealing Secret Syrup

You know the guard is just around the corner based on the footsteps getting closer. You quickly and quietly move up to the corner he'll be coming around on. You draw out your gun and you point the barrel at head-height right where he'll come around.

When the guard walks around the corner, he steps right into the barrel of your gun.

"Don't move!" You yell at him.
The guard looks frightened and shocked at you being there, "please don't shoot," he begs you.

You now have the guard at gunpoint, so you decide to get some information from him.
