"Cool! Thanks. You're a real bro." Ethan says excitedly, and jogs ahead to catch up with Emma on the way to the cafeteria.
You smile and nod. After all, you like Emma, but not as anything more than a friend.
As you eat at the cafeteria with a bunch of people, you realize you've got yourself into a clique. The group consists of Ethan and Emma, who are fast getting close; A mystery guy called Zach, Brittany, and Kate.
Zach's a pretty weird guy, you notice. he keeps mostly to himself and plays Minecraft on his phone most of the time. That's okay, you think, but why not socialize like everyone else?
Brittany turns out to be the mean girl of every school. SHE. TALKS, ABOUT. EVERYONE. Two minutes hadn't passed since she came, and she was already sharing her opinions on everyone at school.
Kate is really pretty. She has green eyes, red hair that bounces every time she laughs and nods her head, and has a slim figure. The two of you get talking and you already know that your mission is to be as close to her as possible in the next few days. Nobody else, in your opinion, is worth wasting time on.
