High school stories

You sigh. You'd expected this sort of response- clearly, this guy was not going to give in because of his huge ego. You're sure you will have some problems with him, but instead of worrying about that right now, you decide to unpack your stuff.
"Oh, by the way," the guy interrupts your busy thoughts. "I couldn't catch your name?"
"Alex."
"Mine's Liam. We'll be fine as long as you try and stay outta my way."
