High school stories
You have only just moved into this strange city. Blinded by the lights, you hurry up to the town bus from the airport, clutching your bags as you get in. The driver recognises the familiar face of a nervous student, and casually says, "Dont worry; you'll like it here." You smile anxiously up to him and continue to the back of the bus, wanting to fade into the furry seat covers. So what if this school will help you in your academic career? It's so unfair, having to leave behind everyone to come to this place.
You take a window seat and look out of the window, hoping in vain that someone you know will appear outside. Nobody does, although someone comes and sits next to you. You prefer to ignore whoever it is- you're too busy wallowing in self pity.
After a while, your mysterious company decides to break the silence.
"Hi! You new in town?"
