The Cursed Night

You watch closely the scene, the audience shows tense gestures and that strange thrilling emotion that happens when someone is about to lose everything.

The captain of the ship is a veteran about to retire with his white beard giving him the appearance of a patriarch of the Old Testament. He is a man of integrity, totally unaware of Juan's business. So you take care around him:

"Captain, I'd love to give a toast on this last day of the Kingfisher cruise. May I have your permission?"

Her voice is deep and affable: "Of course Madame? Quite an honour"

You just call one of the waiters "Williamson, can you do us the favour of bringing that Brandy bottle that Mr Richard has given to me?"

The contents of the bottle are distributed among victories between the rest of the first-class audience, warming their hearts and making the hit easier.

You take your glass and draw the attention of all present:

"I want to toast the captain who has guided us throughout the continent, crossing the cape against gale gales and adverse wind."

A wave of applause and joy powered by the powerful Brandy resounds on the Kingfisher's first deck.

While the crowd is concentrated in your everlasting friendship speech, Dan performs the switch like a real gambler and seductively twinkles your eye.

"So Hail, The Kingfisher! This sharp lady who is carrying us to a new life in a new land!"

The hails from the officers present and the twenty passengers in first-class echoed through the entire vessel.

Soon, Richard finds himself incapable of doing anything expect to lose. His eyes are wet and are dangerously near of bursting into tears
You stop listening to him while watching out of the corner of your eye the actions of the other conspirators. You only want the horse and the wagon, so for once, there will be no problems...

Now, looking the damn wagon well stuck in the mud... Starts to think that. It wasn't a good idea.
