Unbeknowst

You move off your bed, and with minor hesitation, you make your way to the front door. As you put your hand around the doors brass doorknob. You can't help but feel uneasy. Mustering enough courage, you open the door, to reveal a somewhat narrow hallway in front of you. No big surprise though, as it's been in your house since you've been there.
