Errant
You haven't had much of a chance to talk with Ezekiel yet. Perhaps if you give him a hand with dinner he might open up to you more. You offer your services and almost to your surprise he doesn't reject the help. Instead he put a knife in your hand set sets you straight off to work chopping vegetables for the stew pot. Even before the fire gets going he's adding a whole manner of spices and herbs to the broth water; some of which you've never seen before.
When you ask him about the ingredients he tells you, still fairly reluctantly but not so much as before. It seems cooking is something he is greatly fond of. As the night wears on the fire is stoked and fully roaring as it brings the soup to a simmer and the smells of the exotic spices begin to fill the air. Your mouth waters as you yearn for just a taste. Ezekiel warns you not to taste it until it's fully cooked, but you start to feel your stomach grumble and complain in the face of the anticipation. What will you do?
