Midnight Snack

I turn the wheelbarrow around so the gaping hole is facing away from the sugar canes. I crawl inside and notice that the wheelbarrow is dusty and old, rusty nails and all. The base has collected a number of cobwebs and questionable stains. Absolutely filthy. If I'm ever going to get an even remotely good night's sleep, I'm going to have to put that tarp to use. I crawl out of the hole, and make my way around to the sugar canes, where a green tarp lies. I grab one corner of it, but it's too wide to reach the other side. I use the corner of the tarp to shake all the dust and filth that have been collecting on the underside of it, but the majority goes into my eyes. I drag the tarp on the ground, undoing my work, to the front of the wheelbarrow. I could use this as a protection from the weather, in case it rains, or I could use it as a sort of cushion for comfort.
