Killing Gandhi

You give him a little bit of time, but being sure to watch intently at what the man is doing. You see him pick up the weapon and drop the it several times. You are hopeful that he won't go through with it, and that he will put all it down and walk away. But you see him pick up the weapon and hold it with a firmer grip then all the rest of the times. You know that this time he will do something. You run towards Gandhi, and as you do the attacker sees you. You start to run faster but you think it might be too late. Even if it was you jump to try and save him. You see the bullet barrel towards Gandhi, but you are also coming nearer and nearer. You start to think that this might be it, and you think about all the decisions in your life that lead up to this. You are happy with this, you want this. You saved Gandhi, but you will never know if that was enough.
