Rift Station: Open Worlds

This hallway slants strangely, you're not really sure where this section is in relation to the rest. The materials its built with are different as well, leaving you wondering if it was a later addition to this part of the station.

Soon enough you come to another set of doors however. Reading the labels, you see these all lead to locations populated by primitive sapient lifeforms. (Primitive being defined on the galactic standard of no segment of the population having reached the Industrial level.)

You're not quite sure how you feel about this. When sapient life is discovered in Human or Emittier territory, there's a whole process involved in defining what kind of access anyone will be allowed to have to it. While it's not strictly illegal to interact with primitives just as you would anyone else in a survival situation, going to their planet to do so deliberately would certainly be frowned upon. But then again, if accessed through the rift, you suppose no one would ever know. The distances involved would surely be to immense for any legal consequences. So there's only the immediate physical ones to consider, if the natives turn out to be unfriendly...
