You pressed, “So what happened? Did he... do something with her?”

“He told me he just kissed her back once, but then pushed her away.... She had asked to come see his new car and then while sitting next to him, she kissed him and he admitted he kissed back.... Ally, what do you think? Do you think that was all that happened?”
Trisha started to cry, saying she felt betrayed and really hurt.
You just hold her as she sobs.
You cringe a little as you know Scarlet.
You’ve met Scarlet a few times, as since she lived down the hallway, all the girls have at least passed one another in the shared female bathroom in the middle of the hall.

“I’m going to Mikhail’s,” Trisha says as slips her shoes on, “maybe I’ll leave a few hickies and memories he won’t ever forget! Then he’ll never think twice about any other girl!”
You laugh as Trisha leaves.

A few weeks pass with many more “study” sessions with John.
You also had a few more “observing sessions” with Trisha and Mikhail.
It is clear that they made up and you are just happy that your roommate doesn’t seem concerned about that Scarlet incident anymore.
