The Church
You step out onto McNab street and head down Downie Street.
You walk a couple blocks, and observe the establishments.
You pass the laundromat, that was basically Taylor and yours first apartment. You still remember dining at the vending machine, keeping warm near the dryers, and watching the TV in the corner on late nights.
Next door is Shenanigans, where it all began. It is now closed and the windows boarded up. Whatever happened to Cactus Jack, and Demile, you really don't care, or think about at all.
Across the street is The Dominion House. "Hamilton" is the name of the band that is playing tonight, posted on their front sign.
Further down, you take a look at the strip mall, where Twice The Deal, and the Youth Centre reside. The only other two establishments next to them are Buffy's 420 accessories shop, and a children's education centre.
You walk through Allen's Alley, and head past Long&Mcquade.
You walk down by the river where you used to busk.
You finally head down Church Street.
You pay no attention to the Library at all.
As you take a moment staring at The Church, a Swan walks past you.
As Church Street is at least 4 blocks from the river, he is a long way from home.
But then again, soon, you will be too.
QUEST FAILED.
