The Church
The static starts to become more clear as you hear a familiar voice begin speaking through the karaoke machine.
Stranger: "You have made many choices, but the eve of the end, as you perceive it, is three times as far away. After the curtain falls over the Cloud, your next set of decisions will be more and more apparent, but less and less clear. The time is 5 minutes to 12, midnight, the place is Stratford City. As the season changes, so will you...because even at midnight, it's high noon."
The voice fades out as the static clears once again and your music returns.
Josh: "Dafuq??"
Taylor: "That was weird...who was that?"
Mandy: "It's always doing random stuff like that. I think it's broken, or something inside of it is just messed up."
You start to feel disoriented, thinking about the message you have just heard.
Speechless, you get up, grab your shoes and jacket and head out the door to go home.
In your haste, you have forgotten your Discman which is playing "Innervision" by SOAD upon your exit.
