You slide the compartment door open with a hesitant smile and the girls all look up at you.
"Hi," you say, "mind if I join you?"
The girl closest to the door beams at you. "Only if you enjoy looking at handsome men all day," she says with a giggle. Before you can answer she grabs your wrist and pulls you into the seat next to her, and the girls resume their twittering and squealing over the magazine once more.
