I put a hand under the head of the pilot, gently pushing it up. He seemed a little older than Rose, with messy hair that was draping his sweaty forehead. I snapped my fingers in front of his eyes and by his ears, making sure he didn't steer in his sleep. There was a trail of dried blood going down his nose and chin, dripping onto his pilot suit. That was probably where the impact landed from Rose's hit. He was..handsome, to say. I pulled the lower socket of his eye and saw his rolled back eyes, grunting a little in disgust. He seemingly had brown eyes.
I pushed him a little straighter onto the wall so he doesn't slouch, biting on the inside of my cheek. Whatever he said or did to Rose probably didn't deserve to be treated with a sucker punch to the jaw, but I couldn't blame her. I stood up again and by reflex wiped my hands one from the other, as if I had touched anything more than his sweat and/or blood. I went up to Rose which was slipping the receiver in her trench coat pocket, studying her long nails. One of them seemed broken, and she was reasonably upset. "Ugh, these took months." She tsked, scrunching up her nose. "We're to take them to the Supreme Leader as soon as we land." She informed me and I couldn't stop the annoyed groan moving from my lips. "Just take me out with a blaster right now." At that, Rose chuckled, raiding her pockets for something sweet to nibble on.
I steadied myself on the seat next to me as the ship went off ground, listening to the whirring gears of the systems inside. I looked up to Rose, which was staring stead on through the window, watching us leave the surface.
