The aircraft carrier

You attempt to bend down and perform a somersault under the bullet coming your way. Instead, the robot bends over and bangs it's head on the deck of the boat. With your robot's behind up in the air, a railgun shot is fired straight into your rear. Piercing the metal around your bum like butter and slicing through your thigh in the process. The leg actuator on your right goes from green to red as two warnings pop up 'RIGHT SERVO 3: LINKAGE COMPROMISED' and 'RIGHT SERVO 4: LINKAGE COMPROMISED'. White hot pain shoots through your right leg and you have no other option put to jam the button to open the panel which makes up your escape hatch/window. You climb out of the robot using only your right arm, as your left hurts too much. Lying on top of the limp robot, you begin admit defeat. However, a couple of allied scout planes show up in the distance. They are just out for a patrol, but the aircraft carrier sees the two and soon enough, it's AA guns are trained on where they are. A few shots make it into one of the two planes and it screams towards the water, diving way too fast. The other pulls a quick evasive maneuver, swooping down really low, right under the deck of the carrier, but still next to it. Through the stars in your vision, it looks like the pilot at least glanced in your direction.
