You decide that Enkidu's heightened instincts would be able to sense if the danger proposed by Humbaba was too much and do not attack. After this you decide to settle down for a comfortable life in your castle with Enkidu. Adventuring was for others you decide. After many years of enjoyed in each other's company Enkidu dies. But you feel calm in the mindset that he died having meet you and that your were able to meet someone as great as him. When you eventually pass on he is the last person you think of before entering that blessed tunnel of light.
