The Weekend of a Competitive Dancer

The chiropractor seems like a good decision because they specialize in your back. You happened to be lucky enough to get an appointment for the next morning, just hours before the competition.

That morning you arrive at the chiropractor. After waiting just a short fifteen minutes, the nurse takes you back to measure your height and weight, and then allows you to enter the room. She blurted out "The doctor won't be here for a few minutes. Do not leave the room under any circumstances unless you are dying or there is a fire. Thank you." She then exits the room with a sassy strut.

The doctor is extremely friendly, and makes you feel welcomed within the first few minutes of the appointment. He is a lot different than that rude nurse. First he massages your back, to see how tight your muscles are. They are extremely tight, and he does not think that that is good. Also, when you belt out a screeching sound the second he lays his hand on you, he has already made his decision. He lets you know that you should definitely not dance, or if not you could paralyze yourself. That is all you had to hear, you made your choice, not to dance out of fear.
