Figments
All three of you jump into the battle. Q looks at you guys concerned but doesn't have the time to talk about it. Only your second mission and you are fighting a seven-foot green alien with three red eyes. Blaze isn't going to believe this. It will definitely knock him off his high horse for a while at least. A car is thrown onto the ground, snapping you out of your thoughts.
"What are you doing Soval?" Q shouts. Does he know this guy?
"Just having some fun," Soval answers with a smile. Oh yeah, they know each other.
"You always did like to cause chaos, I shouldn't be surprised."
"Well, you are pretty dumb." That comment made you and your teammates mad.
As you and Q throw punches Fin uses her telepathy to talk strategy from afar. May is rat crawling on Soval to distract. You can't feel anything, partly due to your phasing power but also from the huge adrenaline rush. Under different circumstances, this would feel amazing. Once the strategy was figured out Fin got quiet and joined the physical part of the fight.
"Thanks for joining!" You shout at Fin. She rolls her eyes at you.
Eventually, the whole team is able to tie up Soval and call the cops. The Cops around here know how to deal with aliens and superpowers so after that, it was out of your hands. The city was saved and everyone was safe for the most part. There were some scratches and small wounds but nothing too bad. Pride swells in your chest and you can see that same feeling on everyone else's' faces, along with exhaustion.
