The Curious Case of Special Order 191

The sun hangs high overhead, luckily; however, you were able to find a cool, shaded trail to use so that you could continue your mission in comfort. As soon as you begin to enjoy the cool breeze that is flowing around you, your rear end begins to become extremely sore from the leather of the cheaply crafted saddle on your horse. As you begin to regret volunteering for the Union Army for Abraham Lincoln’s crusade to “Preserve the Union”, you suddenly come to a fork in the road. The enemy, the Confederates, were spotted camping in the area the previous day. You have been tasked with scouting out the area for additional enemy activity, so you have a choice to make, do you travel down the wooded path where there is plenty of shade, with the possibility of being ambushed by the enemy, or do you take the path into the field, where you will be exposed to the sun’s blinding rays for much longer than you want to, but there is a lesser likelihood of you being ambushed by the enemy thanks to the speed of your reliable stallion.
