Soulbound~Chapter Five
I go out to the steps in front of the school to clear my head. I think about that weird dream last night suddenly I feel a tap on my shoulder I turn to see Kade with a big goofy smile. I smile up at him, I have to admit he is pretty cute. He sits next to me and for a few minutes we sit in comfortable silence. He breaks the silence by saying,
“So hows your day been?”
“That is the driest way to start a conversation but my days been pretty good. How about you?”
“It’s been good. Hey uh Lacey were your eyes always green?”
“What? No they are like gray?” I quickly pull out my phone and use the camera to check. They have in fact turned from gray to Kelly green.
“What the hell.” I say to myself
“That’s really weird.” Kade adds
“Hang on. Your eyes changed too.”
“To what color?” He asks
“Dark gray.”
“That’s not fair you got pretty green and all I got was dark gray.” You laugh
“I wonder why they changed.”
“Who knows.” I smile. And I think to myself,
dark gray is pretty too. Although at this time I wouldn’t say that to his face, it was what I was thinking. We talk the whole lunch period about kinda random things. Then the bell rings
