Fizzymagic's Big Adventure
The two geofriends slowly move their way down the tunnel, flashlights in hand. Fizzy thinks back on the puzzle, trying to recall what he had tried and what he might have missed.
"Well, at first, I wasn't quite sure what to do," confesses jimbexleyspeed, "But then I realized the title was kind of a hint. I mean, neverending, right? And then after reading up on the Voynich manuscript, which makes so much sense for The Rat, I..."
Fizzy furrows his brow, trying to make sense of jbs' bibblebabble, but before he can ask for clarification, he suddenly finds himself bumping into his geofriend, who stopped dead in his tracks.
"......... The Rat? Is that you?"
In the soft glow of their two flashlights, they watch someone turn around, and sure enough, it is the CO! How could this be?!?!
Strangely, he doesn't seem to notice them at all. Instead, oblivious to their presence, The Rat crouches down, carefully tucks a bison tube into a small crack in the tunnel wall, and stuffs a few bits of debris on top as camo. Fizzy and jimbexleyspeed are delighted -- they've found the cache! Now, to sign the log and get outta here!!!
