Of sane mind
Steve sat up quickly, his eyes wide with fear. He glanced over to Tory at his side. Sleeping like a baby. Why did he dream such a thing? He wondered. She was always so sweet to him, never raising her tone, always obediant, the perfect wife you could say. But in the dream, he remembered those feelings he felt, feelings of anger, feelings of...hatred. He swung his legs off the side of the bed and leaned over, feeling complete exhaustion, even though he'd only just awoke. He's been having dreams like this for the past few weeks, his therapist told him it was jsut because work was stressing him out, that and the child on its way. The therapist didn't know of the new kid, but Steve couldn't get it out of his head, the baby that didn't belong to him and Tory, but him and another woman. It had only been a one night stand, but now he would surely suffer from it. Perhaps that's why in his dreams he wanted to kill Tory, he could stand the fact of telling her the truth. He looked at the clock at her side of the bed now. Bright red lnumbers flashed: 3:00 a.m.
