You see at the end of the path is a tall, winding staircase. Its dark mahogany steps and golden and beautiful railings gave it an upscale, classy look. A bright, warm light shines down from the very top of the staircase and had a dark and scary shadow under each stair. Going back is now not an option, so you approach the staircase.
