You are in your favorite coffee shop getting a quick drink to jump-start your day. Just as you are about to pick up your drink, you feel a tap on your right shoulder. You quickly turn around to see a cute boy towering over you.
"Hey," he charmingly exclaims.
"Hi..." You hesitantly shoot back.
You are kind of creeped out by the fact that he is randomly coming up to you. He is very cute but it doesn't steer you away from the fact that you don't know him at all.
"What's your name?" he questions.
Weirded out, you reply, "Ellie."
"You should come to my party tonight," he quickly replies.
You barely know this guy. You think it is kind of weird that he is already inviting you to his party.
"Maybe, I'll think about it," you hesitate.
You talk to John David B for a while after he invites you to the party. You chat all afternoon, "He’s so cute," you think the entire time you are talking to him. After a few hours of talking, you decide you should get going. He walks you to your car and you get in. He waves you goodbye. You spend the drive home thinking how much you like him and how your so excited to find somebody new. Once you get home, you immediately start getting ready for the party. You get out, and you start to put on your makeup when you start to get a weird feeling. You remember all the things he said at the coffee shop and think they were pretty strange. All of a sudden you feel you should not go, and you can’t figure out why. You have to leave in an hour if you wanted to get there on time.
