One Way Out
You quietly creeped between the tables, hoping that Brandon wouldn't see you. He was busy getting the angle just right. Adrienne was screaming her head off (pun unintended) and you decided to pass right behind Brandon because it was the only way. As soon as you ran past Brandon as silently as possible, you saw Emma back at the door frame.
She looked at you with amusement. You silently pleaded her not to say anything. She shrugged and watched Brandon. Hoping that she wouldn't rat you out, you inched nearer to the door and stood face to face with Emma. She blocked the door, then let you through. "I'll see you later, dead or alive," she whispered into your ear as you pass. You shivered at her words and bolted out the room.
