Notice Me Elf-Pai!
People usually can't see in the dark, but then again, "people" usually meant Humans, which Nag wasn't dealing with. She dives underneath the water, trying to make as little sound as possible.
Even underneath the water, she can make out the phrase "Damn, I must be seeing things!" coming from above. Apparently, Elves *can* see in the dark, a fact which Nag did not know. Still underneath the water, she can make out the faint outline of a hole- a small crevice, but nonetheless large enough for Nag to swim through.
Concluding that there's no other option, Nag swims into the hole. At first, she is enveloped by water, quickly running out of air. Then, the tunnel slopes downwards, and the water level lowers enough for her to breath. Soon, her body begins to slide more than swim, something that would cause much discomfort on her bare buttcheeks had there not been a layer of water in the way.
Nag is fired out of the hole, landing awkwardly on her stomach. Wiping off debris, she takes a short breather before deciding what to do next.
