You, Aphrodite, Hephaestus, and Hera point at Artemis. Artemis and Apollo point at Aphrodite.

“Oh, no…” Artemis touches her neck with shaking hands. “You all really doubted me that much?”

“It was all quite suspicious,” Hera says. “I’m sorry.”

“So am I,” Artemis admits. “The truth is, I really am the Oracle. But as you probably know, not all my statements were true. Good luck, you all.”

“Artemis—” Apollo reaches for her, but she waves his hands away.

“Live on for me, brother.”

Artemis’s choker glows silver, blinding everyone. Moments later, the choker explodes, taking her head with it and leaving her body to fall to the ground.

Apollo’s eyes fill with tears, and he turns away from all the pitying looks sent his way. Silently, he leaves the room alone.

“It really just feels like we’re back at square one,” mutters Hephaestus as you head up the stairs.

You quietly agree. Who knew if any of the people executed in Moirae were Furies? Maybe at least one or two had been killed. Maybe none of them.

Falling asleep that night takes you forever, and when you do, your dreams are silver. The moon blinds you, and you stumble and fall into a silvery lake, where you drown in moonlight.
