"Hang on!" you yell to the girl. You both scream loudly as the boat plummets over the edge of the aqueduct!
The boat is falling fast toward the rushing river below! Finally, there is a hard jolt as the boat hits the water. Both of you are thrown to the floor as the boat miraculously continues down the river!
You jump off and try to steer the boat through the rushing rapids. It's no use. The boat is just being taken too fast.
Minutes later as you and the girl are lying on the floor, the boat floats gently into calm water.
"What in the world is going on?" You pant to the girl. "Who are you?!"
"My name is Whitney. Call me Whit. You have disturbed the brotherhood!" She says horrified. "But you saved me! For that I am grateful."
The boat gently comes to rest on the dirt of the riverbank. You are surrounded by forest in every direction.
