Vacation
I quickly walked up to Louie and smacked him hard against the cheek. His face immediately turned red. “Louie, quit it and go stand with mom and dad.” I commanded. Tears started flowing down his face immediately. “I would’ve expected this from maybe mom or dad,” he paused. “But not you.. I’ll remember this you b***h” The disappointment in his voice made me want to crumble.
After about an hour of waiting in line, we finally got called to board the ship. FINALLY!! We pulled our luggage up to the pool deck. “Hey babe, why don’t you get your swimsuit on and I’ll get food.” He winked. I kissed him on the cheek. “Sounds good!”.
I grabbed my bathing suit and found a bathroom to quickly change into it. When I returned, I was surprised to see that my mom and brother also had theirs on. Louie was in the water scowling at me, and my mom was on the chair. I jumped in the pool and swam over to Louie. I felt like such a jerk after hitting him. “Hey, look I-“ “You don’t have to apologize,” Louie interrupted. “I’ve forgiven and forgotten!” He waved. I sighed out of relief. “Oh good!” “Say, why don’t we play a game?” He smiled mischievously. I raised my eyebrow. “Sure? What kind of game?” “THIS GAME!” Louie grabbed my face and shoved in under water. I struggled to get up but he wouldn’t let me. He kept pinning me down! I couldn’t breathe!!! I’ve got to think fast! What should I do, fight to get out or wait and see if he’ll stop?
