The three of you sit around the table, not saying anything to each other.
“Welcome, my final three,” says Hades. “One final Fury sits among you. Discuss.”
“I believe we already know who it is,” says Hera. “Before we vote, may I just say that spending today with you two was more fun than I expected. Thank you for inviting me, though we did spend hours just petting animals. How will the kingdom be saved now?”
You give her a sad smile, and Hephaestus looks like he’s trying not to cry.
“I wish we’d spent more time together, Hera,” he says. “You make a great teammate.”
“I wish things were different,” you add.
“So do I.” Hera takes a deep breath. “Hades, just start already, please.”
“Very well,” his voice booms. “Please point to the guilty one among you. And…begin.”
