Kitchen Poaching:The Beginning

You clench the sword in your paws, preparing to charge. The spicies gummy bear hasn’t noticed you yet, so you start your charge. Charging, you aim the tip of your blade straight at the gummy bear’s heart, and thrust the sword into it. He dodges, pulling out a small pistol and firing three shots at you. They hit the sword, one reflecting and hitting his thigh. This gives you the perfect opportunity to strike, and you take it. With the heavy weight of your sword, you sprint with all your might, running and thrusting the sword into his chest. He groans in agony before coughing up blood sugar. You’ve beaten him. But, he’s alive. Alive, and laughing. Everyone goes up to you after recovering from Carl’s healing supplies and are as confused as you are with his laughing. Martin asks why he’s laughing. He says you’ll see. After that, you notice something strange. Very strange.
