Erinyes Game
You, Hephaestus, and Aphrodite point at Hera. Hera points at Aphrodite.
Hera says nothing, only scowls as if she’s merely offended, as her metal choker lights up blue and green.
“Damn,” she mutters. “I suppose I’ll admit defeat. Yes, I’m a Fury. Good luck, you three.”
Her choker spits out brightly colored acid, melting the skin off her bones until you can see her very skeleton. Her body falls back against the back of her chair, skull exposed through melted flesh.
The three of you who remain leave the room, unable to rid yourselves of that image.
“At least this game will finally be over,” says Aphrodite.
That night, your dreams are blue and green. You’re sinking into quicksand, and as you try to reach up to blue and green vines and branches to pull yourself out, they lift just out of your reach. The more you struggle, the faster you sink, until you suffocate underneath the sand.
