In The Day

You're not one to make awkward moments worse, so you just decide to sit through the dinner. With each bite that you take, you decide to listen intently to your friend and let them talk about the research that they've discovered and what they think about it. You can't help but catch yourself believing what they are saying.

Soon enough both of your plates are empty and it's time to go. You hug each other goodbye and head your separate ways.

When you arrive back home, you can't help but think more about what your friend said.
