In The Day

The waitress nods and leaves to go and get the drinks. When you look up, you see your friend look at you like you're insane.

"What?"

"Do you really need a straw?" They ask.

You shrug your shoulders, "It makes it easier to drink."

"Yeah, but it also is on the Earth forever."

"What do you mean?" You ask as you lift your eyebrow.

"I mean, it takes two-hundred years for the straws to even decompose and even then they don't fully break down."
